At the law offices of DeLoach, Hofstra & Cavonis, P.A., we are proud to have maintained a continuous presence in our community of Seminole, Florida, since Dennis R. DeLoach Jr. founded our firm in 1976. Our attorneys and staff are very involved in our community and support several worthwhile groups in Seminole and Pinellas Counties.
Children’s Advocacy
Attorney Paul Cavonis has been a volunteer Guardian ad Litem (GAL) since 2013, appointed by the Court to advocate for abused, neglected, or abandoned children. The staff has participated in GAL family and Fill the Sled project, which helps many young lives during the holiday season. Monica Case, Paul's paralegal, has taken the lead in this initiative.
Environmental & Conservation
Through their in-house Green Team, dhcCares is working on new programs to benefit local environmental organizations.
Local Community Support
dhcCares hosts a chili contest with their staff every Presidents' Day and competes in the annual "Pinellas Park Firefighters Chili Blaze" to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We have also supported the City of Seminole Recreation "Music in the Park," an annual concert for the benefit of community residents, and the Seminole Historical Society.
Animal Advocacy
DHC is passionate about animals and has a pet-friendly office. In 2007, they founded the "Legal Beagles" charitable group to promote animal advocacy through community events and volunteer work. They have participated in various pet-friendly law firm events and supported organizations like SPCA Tampa Bay Pet Walks, Whiskers at Work, and FLUFF Animal Rescue. At the end of each year, one of their team members collects blankets for "Operation Cold Noses."

Estate Planning and Board Certified Elder Law Attorney Rep DeLoach provides free seminars & webinars to the community on estate planning (for people and pets), long-term care planning, support for caregivers, charitable planning and so much more!
Local Civic Engagement
dhcCares supports various local organizations and has served as volunteers and on boards and committees for the Kiwanis Breakfast Club of Seminole, Rotary Club of Seminole, GFWC Pinellas Seminole Women’s Club, Greater Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce, and City of Seminole charitable endeavors.
Motorsports Safety
dhcCares founded HelpForTheHurt Motorsports to provide free driver safety information to fellow motorsports enthusiasts. They have participated in various events such as Festivals of Speed and in the past the Seminole Pow Wow Parade.
