Although early on in his life he had aspirations of medical school and becoming a physician, Peter T. Hofstra found his niche in law and has been a major contributor to the success of DeLoach & Hofstra, P.A., since joining Mr. DeLoach in 1977. In particular, his expertise in real estate law, has helped to solidify DeLoach & Hofstra, P.A. as a specialist in real estate acquisitions, condominium and association law and transfer of real property.
Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, he is a graduate of Randolph Macon College (Ashland, Virginia), where he earned a bachelor's degree in Biology. He received his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University in 1977.
Peter Hofstra exemplifies the business philosophy of DeLoach & Hofstra, P.A. when he says, I always try to be honest and upfront with a client. If the law does not support the client's position, I won't hesitate to say that he or she is wasting their money. But if I can find a way to resolve the issue, I will.
Peter Hofstra has worked with developers in establishing condominium and residential projects of all sizes, from the modestly priced to multi-million dollar ventures. Responsibilities and experiences such as these have qualified him to oversee DeLoach & Hofstra, P.A.'s other entity, Seminole Title Company. In addition, he represents numerous condominium and homeowner associations in Pinellas County.
For years, he has been involved in various organizations to enhance business and improve the quality of life for people in the community. These endeavors include the Annual Kiwanis Club of Seminole Breakfast, Seminole Chamber of Commerce, Oakhurst United Methodist Church and coaching youth baseball at Indian Rocks Christian School. He formerly served as a City Councilor for the City of Seminole.
